Talman Madsen

Talman Madsen is a New Zealand landscape photographer who considers his homeland to be heaven on earth - literally. During a road trip to Queenstown, he explored the West Coast of the South Island and fell head over heels with the raw beauty he encountered, stunned at having such a wide range of New Zealand landscapes so easily accessible to anyone who bothered to look. Deciding that more people needed to see how incredible his country was, Talman began sharing his adventures on social media sites, and quickly amassed a large following of people inspired by his striking photographs, quirky personality, and daring adventures.

In 2016 he was awarded ‘New Zealand Geographic Young Photographer of the Year’ for his portfolio of New Zealand images. - Highly commended Aerial Category. And he was Runner-up for the Sony 2017’s Alpha Awards in the Wildlife category.

Favourite Boot

"My favourite boot is the Camino GTX Wide. This boot is made to withstand everything I've thrown at it, from river crossings, snow, scrub, shingle, scree, and more. I've been using these boots for over a year now and they are yet to let me down! They are incredibly comfy from day 1, being a wider boot they are perfect for those of us who have slightly wider feet, they fit snug but not too tight!" - Talman Madsen
