Active Creme WORKS !

I regularly apply Lowa Active Creme to all three pairs of my Lowas as per the maintenance instructions. Water always beads off my boots like water off a duck's back, and they are all breathable and supple.

I own three models; Tibets, Z8S GTX C and Innox Pro GTX Mid TF - all purchased with my own money at full retail for different specific purposes. BRILLIANT boots. For the record, I am NOT sponsored or associated with Lowa in any way. The Lowa last shape fits my WIDE feet better than any boot I have ever owned.

I treated my Z8S GTX with Lowa Active Creme the week before I headed off to walk three Caminos in 2024. Started at St Jean Pied de Port, walked to Santiago de Compostela and then on to Finisterre, finishing in Muxia. That's around 1200 km or so in 3 months (including side trips). Water was still beading off my boots when I returned to Australia after all that way. To me - you can't ask for more - Active Creme WORKS !

Z-8N GTX® C

This is my second pair of Innox boots the first have done over 1500kms of day walks for me. They are light, very comfy and the grip is great for unstable ground.

Took my brand new High-country EVO GTX’s down to Tasmania to tackle the ‘Overland Track’ in the middle of winter and they did not disappoint at all. Straight out of the box, they were comfy as well as sturdy. I trekked through rain, over ice and through deep mud and water on the track, my feet stayed warm and dry.
I love the lacing system, it allowed me to adjust the fit perfectly and didn’t let go at any stage.
I felt confident scaling rocks and walked some big days with a heavy pack without incident.
I could not recommend here boots enough.

I spent a week breaking these boots in before going on a 4 day, 70km hike with a 22kg pack over beach sand, foresty mud, granite, and sharp rocks and gravel. The boots performed great, I had no blisters or friction issues, and my usual problem with my wide forefoot being compressed and causing pain after several kilometers was alleviated by these wide boots. My feet were feeling fine even after the 4th day, no complaints at all. I also did a couple of shallow water crossings, and even when dunked up to the ankle, the boots repel water and my bamboo socks stayed mostly dry. The boots are rather heavy at nearly 900g each, but that's to be expected. Overall the best performing and most comfortable boots I've every worn when hiking.

Having had a bunch of niggling hip issues and no walking for a few months, I set off with my brand new Innox Pro GTX Lo shoes on a 9km hike through the bush. They felt so supportive and kept me safe on a few slippery downhill sections. Love them!

Keep your boots like new using this stuff. My 4 year old boots keep coming new after a wash down and then a brush with the creme.

Comfy

The sizing footprint which I printed out said I required a 37 Women’s. Luckily I had tried them on in a shop and knew that I needed a size larger 38W in the wide fitting.
I mention this because 2 people I know bought these boots online and used the sizing system. Both of them had to get rid of the boots as they got such bad blisters. I have never had blisters.
Perhaps the sizing - which says there is a 1.5cm allowance is suitable for cold climates. But in the heat of Australia where our feet swell we need extra room.
But the boots are very good for rugged conditions and last very well. I’m onto my second pair.
