          Camino GTX® Video

          Nubuck Leather Upper

Robust and durable to extend the life of your boots. It's also open pored for breathability while remaining fully waterproof.

          Gore-Tex® Lining

Allows for moisture and sweat to escape while preventing water from entering from the outside, keeping you cool and dry.

          C4 Tongue

Reduces pressure on the instep to prevent hotspots and blisters while allowing for improved flex and comfort.

          X-Lacing® Stud

Reduces tongue movement and prevents pressure and hot spots which could lead to blisters.

          Flexfit Synchro® + Flexfit®

Allows the boot to flex better with the lower leg so the foot can roll forward. This saves you strength when going uphill and provides noticeable comfort.

          Moderately Stiff Sole

Provides sturdy underfoot support while remaining flexible in the forefoot so you can take on rough terrain off trail and keep stable.

          Polyurethane (PU) Midsole

PU midsoles do not deform under heavy packloads so you can carry more without compromising weight and flexibility.

          SPS System

Optimises foot stability to provide added comfort when walking. This system corrects gait by reducing pronation and supination (feet rolling inwards or outwards).

          Vibram® App Trail II Outsole

An improved outsole from the previous Camino GTX. Increased contact area gives better traction in steep environments so you can wear the boots off trail in the backcountry bush while feeling supported and grippy.

          Invest In Your Comfort

You invest a lot of time, money and effort in your outdoor adventures, so it makes sense that you invest in the most comfortable, durable footwear you can find.

          Customer Reviews

          Based on 4 reviews

Should have spent the extra first time

With an desire to do more hiking I purchased a pair of Italian made boots which had fantastic reviews and were a bit cheaper than Lowas. After several weeks of trying different socks, tape, blister pads, sore toes and sore feet I was not sure if they would break in. They eventually did but I would still get sore toes and feet.

As it happened I tried on a pair of Lowas in a shop in Wanaka. I took the insole out of the Lowas and it was instantly wider than my current boots. After much deliberation back in Australia I bought the Caminos, sick of sore feet and toes. We did the Perisher to Charlotte walk. No blisters, sore feet or sore toes. I was particularly impressed with the way the tongue stops your toes getting based on down hill. Although they were heavier than my other boots they did not feel heavier.

I would recommend paying the extra and getting Lowas. They are exceptionally well made, the technology works and they
are very supportive. Having done the Routeburn and Kepler tracks in NZ, you need a sturdier boot as there are sections of loose rock and scree. The Camino provides the support and protection without being overly stiff.

          Comfortable and stable

Used these over snow, ice, hard dirt, mud and very rocky terrain for 180km over 16 days carrying a 10kg pack.
Didn’t skip a beat, no sore feet, very supportive.
When fitted correctly with good quality socks I think this boot is magnificent.

          Not happy with sale

Love the boots, but disappointed that I only purchased them about a month ago and now they are on sale. A lot of money to spend, but a lot to save too.

          Comfortable well made boots

Comfortable boots can’t wait for some autumn and winter walks to test them out.
