          Nubuck Leather Upper

Robust and durable to extend the life of your boots. It's also open pored for breathability while remaining fully waterproof.

          Gore-Tex® Lining

Allows for moisture and sweat to escape while preventing water from entering from the outside, keeping you cool and dry.

          C4 Tongue

Reduces pressure on the instep to prevent hotspots and blisters while allowing for improved flex and comfort.

          X-Lacing® Stud

Reduces tongue movement and prevents pressure and hot spots which could lead to blisters.

          Flexfit Synchro® + Flexfit®

Allows the boot to flex better with the lower leg so the foot can roll forward. This saves you strength when going uphill and provides noticeable comfort.

          Moderately Stiff Sole

Provides sturdy underfoot support while remaining flexible in the forefoot so you can take on rough terrain off trail and keep stable.

          Polyurethane (PU) Midsole

PU midsoles do not deform under heavy packloads so you can carry more without compromising weight and flexibility.

          SPS System

Optimises foot stability to provide added comfort when walking. This system corrects gait by reducing pronation and supination (feet rolling inwards or outwards).

          Vibram® App Trail II Outsole

An improved outsole from the previous Camino GTX. Increased contact area gives better traction in steep environments so you can wear the boots off trail in the backcountry bush while feeling supported and grippy.

          Invest In Your Comfort

You invest a lot of time, money and effort in your outdoor adventures, so it makes sense that you invest in the most comfortable, durable footwear you can find.

Found the perfect boot for wide feet

This is my third pair of these boots (first pair from previous generation), without looking after them heavily, they still held together (sole never fallen off), including after many creek (submerged in water) crossings. On my first pair, the rubber around the toe started peeling off after about 2.5 years (used them for three years intermittently until grip wore off), my second last pair had the sole wearing out within a year from extensive usage (still going good for day hikes). The fit is perfect for me with wide feet. The full leather has advantage of durability and is heavy. Being a heavy build, the weight is not an issue for me. The rigid level of the soles are essential for my needs, being a heavy build and when carrying a heavy pack. I use these on steep rugged terrain and flat sandy terrain. I wish these also came in a (understandably less durable) synthetic version for the hot climate I hike in (I would own both leather and synthetic), however the full leather Lowa Camino boot has not been an issue for me in hot climate and seem to breathe well. Break in time has always been quick, with only a couple of days hikes needed, plus wearing them around house initially.

Order was processed quickly and delivery had no issues. They are expensive and I have found that you do get what you pay for (excellent quality).
