Nubuck Leather Upper

Robust and durable to extend the life of your boots. It's also open pored for breathability while remaining fully waterproof.

Gore-Tex® Lining

Allows for moisture and sweat to escape while preventing water from entering from the outside.

C4 Tongue

Reduces pressure on the instep and allows for improved flex and comfort.

X-Lacing® Stud

Reduces tongue movement and prevents pressure and blisters from forming.

Roller Eyelets

Allow for quick, easy and smooth lacing with minimal friction.

Flexfit

Allows the foot to roll forward thus saving you strength when going uphill. Also provides for some rotation in an otherwise stiff boot for natural walking comfort.

I-Lock System

Allows for extra room in the instep area for a snug fit for all day comfort.

Nylon Stabilizers

Provides total underfoot support for rough and uneven terrain so you can stay stable on off trail or rocky adventures.

Polyurethane (PU) Midsole

PU midsoles do not deform under heavy packloads so you can carry more without compromising weight and flexibility.

SPS System

Optimises foot stability to provide added comfort when walking. This system corrects gait by reducing pronation and supination (feet rolling inwards or outwards).

Vibram® Masai Outsole

Experience excellent grip on all surfaces thanks to this self cleaning mountaineering tread so you can take on rocky and uneven terrain with confidence.

Crampon Compatible

Obtain better grip in icy conditions. The Tibet is combination crampon compatible.

Fantastic Boots

Recently upgraded from the Lowa Renegade GTXs as i wore them out after about 6 years. Decided on the Lowa Tibets as their replacement as i wanted to do some more technical and longer trails. Boy am i glad i did, they are great fitting boots even for me with size 16 wide feet. They fit comfortably, have no break in period and appear to be very sturdy. Done about 5 15km+ hikes with them so far and they have perform magnificently with steep terrain, wet surfaces and gravel.

I love the independent lacing system, allows me to set the bottom section to be perfect, then adjust the top section depending whether i am ascending or descending. The only downside i have encountered is the price but upon wearing them, that worry has disappeared and i am extremely happy with them.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to do some heavy duty hiking, hunting or anything technical.

Size issue

Hi, to add context i had a problem last year hiking on the Larapinta which blacked several toes, it was very hot. In ordering these boots i over compensated and they are too big. I am organising to return them. My fault entirely, sorry about that. Cheers

Comfortable boots great fit feet stayed dry and no blisters considering I wore them straight out of the box and into the hills.
Only negative spend $750 and you don't get any boot care lube or suggestions on what one to use and applying it

Excellent for challenging feet

Outstanding supportive boots. One year to the day since both my feet forefront reconstructed plus 2 further surgeries on both. In 4 weeks I'll be on Tasmania's Overland hike. I require inflexible supportive boots. These will be my best purchase ever for my feet. Comfortable. Highly recommended.
